Hey Katie,

Do you remember the link for the pendant light? I’ve looked all over overstock.com and can’t seem to find this one! I’ve been searching high and low for one exactly like this…that doesn’t cost me over $300!!! Also, is the shade white? Or is it off-white or ivory?

I’m working on finishing up the nursery for my first baby and this is the last piece to the puzzle!!!

I am been searching ALL OVER the world wide web for a pendant light for my nursery!!! 2 questions – #1: do you have the link for the light on overstock.com? I’ve looked but think the only one I was able to find was a small version. #2: Is the shade white or off-white or ivory??

Love it!!! And luckily my husband’s a deep sleeper, because I totally just snorted reading the “looking away from boobs” comment. heehee I swear, I’ve been telling ALL my friends lately to hop over to your blog. I mean, seriously… fabulous house, DIY projects in DETAIL, and a kick-butt sense of humor?? It’s all a girl ever wanted in a blog (to stalk.) : )

Ok, enough of that… yes, I can’t wait for the reveal of Will’s woodsy digs! I installed a dimmer switch in our dining room. Great mood lighting. But I must say, I love the switch you chose. I don’t know how many times I’ve balanced my babies in one arm trying to turn on their lights.

Would love to get a drum shade somewhere… do you think they’d look weird in a hallway? I want to replace the standard “boob” lights, but I’m stuck on the options.

I love it! It seems like every light fixture in our (rented) apartment right now is just a shade over a bare bulb, we could definitely use some of those reflective plastic covers.

Yay! I’m one of the trillion people who suggested you get the overstock light ~ I’m so glad you did! It looks AMAZING in his room and does an excellent job merging rustic with contemporary. Plus, like you said, you can use in various spaces throughout the house for many years to come.

The light looks great! When we remodeled our master bedroom, we added some ‘mood’ lighting: http://ourhumbleabowed.wordpress.com/2010/07/19/let-there-be-light/ The lights are on a dimmer switch. We have a baby that is two weeks older than Will, so changing diapers in the middle of the night is so much easier with these lights. So, the dimmer is my new BFF

The light looks great! I’m such a huge fan of drum shades. The dimmer switch is key – I made sure my hubby installed one before our bambino arrived, and it’s been very helpful during those middle of the night feedings.

I love drum shades they look amazing in bedrooms, living rooms, pretty much anywhere in the house! We have them all over our house, don’t you just love upgrading lighting it really makes the room

I think you made a wise choice as well. While the other one may have been more adventurous, this one will be one that can change from room to room. And I, too, love how HUGE it is! I think you got it for a steal!
