Actually that was a gift from Jer’s dad to Jer’s mom when they were first married. Now they are divorced so Jer’s mom gave it to me…I love it.

Oh good lord, finally I found a blog with someone that HAS a tv mounted on top of the fireplace.

I only have this place to put my tv in and Im having major issues with hiding cables, placing cable box, ps3 etc. Can you please please please let me know what you did?

If you allow me to right an email I can send you a picture of my living room so you have an idea of the disaster.

I take my big ole honkin’ 24-70mm – it’s huge but since we do family fun stuff just for the memories, I like to have said memories captured better than my iphone can provide…so it’s worth the sacrifice. And yeah, I like to zoom…with an 18 month old, it’s vital to zoom.

I’ve been meaning to ask you a photography Q for a few days now… When you go out (fair, pumpkin patch, etc) how do you decide which lens to take? I never know if I should take a fixed lens for the better quality or the stock lens for the ability to zoom. Thanks!

You know what? That’s what we did with the first one. It just didn’t show in the video because otherwise it would ten minutes of boring vs. only three. I’ll have to keep that in mind though because since we did this project, another one has gotten knocked off.

Totally unrelated to stonework – does your blog have a Facebook page? I just saw the funniest photo on Facebook and thought of you, but I can’t find a page to “share” it with. What an easy fix! Isn’t it a great feeling to just check something of a list even if its small?? Have you guys considered painting your stone at all? Or maybe do a whitewash? Could be a nice touch.
