Instagram dump is here with the next sweet 16. Here she blows…or maybe I should say “Here she blogs”?…
Just in case you missed it, I got totally hooked onto Instagram. Hooked, lined, and sinkered… and fishermaned ….boated …etc. Fishing confusion aside…I’m in. And every 16 instaphotos get posted here too…with my top three. In true Olympic spirit, I hand out weekly virtual precious metals to my favorites.
First up – clear and obvious winner in my book is the photo of Will praying. Seriously?! Can you get cuter than chubby little fingers, head bowed and eyes lowered?! The answer is no. Will in this brief and tenderhearted moment was the sweetest boy on the planet. My apologies to the mothers who have Gap Baby Models running around.
Silver goes to the photo of our first tomato harvest. This is actually the first instapic of Will & the Little Baby. and our yummy tomatoes. The funny thing is – our tomato plants actually died. Our weirdo weather in the spring fooled me and got warm before I realized it. Then we had a frost…the day after I planted the tomato plants. One plant didn’t make it. The other three were de-leaved and only mostly dead (name that movie). I nursed those bad boys till finally they are niw showing me some love.
Third and final for the sweet 16 is the beginning of Nana Camp. Each summer, my mom takes the grandkids for a week and plans activities for them…kinda like girl scout camp but with a lot better food and less emphasis on badges. This year, it was tough because of the huge age range (and since my mom helps each week with the play groups for Will) I wasn’t expecting it to be toddler-geared…thankfully, there was enough generic stuff planned to have Will participate just a little everyday. He’s LOVING being around the cousins each day. He’s probably not loving being squished by a bowling ball however.
What has this past week held for you guys? Anyone harvesting? Anyone bowling? I know you are all praying…right?…praying for me to finally announce the gender of the baby?
I KNOW!
And tomorrow, hopefully, will be the perfect time to share!!! I am just making sure the rest of the fleshy family knows before we spread the news to all you virtual aunts and uncles

I decided to not share today. Jeremy called this morning and told me of the horrific news in CO and I decided that today would be better served praying for the victims, first responders, families and friends who experienced loss. I am also praying for the shooter and those in the justice system. I hope you guys will consider doing the same…and telling your loved ones that you love them today! I’ll be back on Monday with the gender reveal.

I had a feeling you would hold off on the gender reveal due to the horrible events in CO. Your heart is just in the right place that way. Such a sad time and babies are meant to be celebrated. Praying for all of people out there that have been affected, including the shooters family. You are right…hold on to those you love and let them know how special they are to you!

I get plain giddy when it comes gender reveal time, even in the case of complete-stranger-yet-super-familiar-blogger-from-another-mother… I mean, I’ve been dying to see the gender reveal post since pretty much the beginning. You had me at “pregnant”. I petered out on my blog at “pregnant” (no, seriously, my last post is titled “I’m pregnant!” and I haven’t located the time or energy since to blog… and my new arrival is 15 mos old!!!). So I blog vicariously through you (though mine was pale and amateur in comparison – still, though…) and redecorate… and much else I can’t actually summon the energy for myself… one of these days, though!
Meanwhile, I enjoy reading about all your successes!

Ha ha ha! I’m with you. Mine is 6mo old…haven’t blogges since Feb. Thankfully others still blog with children and homes and I can read theirs! Thank you Carrie for reminding me I am not alone!!

I know people may be upset you didn’t post, but today was such a heartbreaking day and I respect you waiting and giving this day to the victims. Not that it would be horrible if you did post of corse, but your reasoning is very admirable. I honestly haven’t stopped thinking of the families of the victims all day, my heart is just breaking for them. I’m just hoping they can feel the love coming from all over for them, and not just the fear everyone is feeling.

The Instagram had a caption that clearly said those were for a cousin who is expecting…but lotsa people said it was too tricksy. I didn’t even think about it that way until after everyone said it was a giveaway!
