Ok…so Apartment Therapy is hosting their Homies nominations for Favorite Home Design Blogs. 

And I went over to vote for my girl Sherry.

And what did I see?

Yeah…that 18 of my relatives, close friends & paid strangers on the street voted for Bower Power.  And then 5 other readers did too! 

Shut the door.  I almost went into labor.  I was and am and will continue to be totally flattered.  My first time EVER with publicity.  Sure it’s not a shoutout from Martha but hey, I’ll take it.

And then there was comments.  COMMENTS! ABOUT ABP! 

It was like christmas all over again.

especially with this one:

it made my holiday.

especially the word in all caps. 

it reminds me of why I love this blogworld.  This is a place for our weirdness to come out.  a place to be ourselves and talk about things we are passionate about.  a place for strangers to become friends.
