I finally took the plunge into peel and stick wallpaper and it was so worth it!
For those of you that haven’t tried it or looked into it yet….peel and stick wallpaper is basically a giant wall sticker…it literally peels off the backing and sticks onto the wall. But the best part is…it’s temporary so if you don’t line it up correctly, you are renting or you can’t imagine stripping wallpaper in the future, YOU CAN PEEL IT OFF EASILY. And then comes the other amazing part…YOU CAN RE-STICK IT. Miracle of miracles 🙂 It’s does for your room what Spanx does for your body. It should say that on the packaging. But apparently the marketing department for peel & stick wallpaper doesn’t truly understand how this product can transform a space.
Because this is my first time with removable wallpaper, I wanted to give it a whirl in an inconspicuous area. I choose this room in our basement. I wanted to get enough for one big wall but now I am going to reorder more to finish out the whole room (it has four doors and three windows in this one area so wallspace is minimal).
We made an entire video about the process…including the tools you will need and the things that we struggled with at first. Also…make sure you look for the bloopers at the end. Jeremy is performing a little wall dance you will not want to miss 🙂
As for the wallpaper itself….I chose this beautiful brushed fret design from Kate Riley (she is the blogger behind Centsational Girl and is completely fabulous with impeccable style!). HERE IS THE LINK FOR THE WALLPAPER.
And here is the how-to-video! Happy St. Patricks Day y’all!
