I never thought I would share a tutorial related to fashion….but I guess this relates to some past posts – like the one where I showed y’all how to sew a flower headband. You have to check that one out for the cutie Will with his flower hair accessory 🙂
So on Instagram and on some recent posts, y’all have been asking for a scarf tutorial. I would like to preface this with….I am not a scarf professional. I don’t even know the correct terminology for scarf parts. But I am a little scarf obsessed…so I guess that qualifies me 🙂
I made a little video to share with you a couple ways to tie different scarfs….one infinity scarf, one long rectangle scarf and one square blanket scarf. I also wear shorter ones just draped over my neck….but I figured that you guys could probably figure that one out. The video doesn’t have verbal explanations because honestly, if I tried to explain the parts, it would probably be MORE confusing. So just realize that if you need to follow along with it, just hit pause, copy the action I did and then hit play again to do the next step.
And yes, that is scribbles on the wall behind me. My kids decided to try their hand at an accent wall. And no, I don’t know why I do the “I don’t know” hand motions after each scarf is tied. I’m just really cool like that. Oh and because I KNOW I will be asked – here are the scarves I am wearing in the videos….(the middle one is an alternative version since mine is from two years ago)…
I also thought it would be fun to pop in a few recommendations….you know, if you are in the market for a new cold weather accessory, here are some I love.
Now back to our normal schedule!
