I’m back with my monthly recap of all things fashion. I share daily outfits on Instagram Stories and so many of you only follow me for this single reason….which is overwhelmingly humbling since I am still learning how to dress this rearranged body. Everyone always says that pregnancy and post partum takes a toll on your physique but what they don’t say is – you might come out the other end with a completely rearranged room! ha! So as I share my finds and share how I wear them, I love hearing the response from you (it’s nothing short of incredible!) So since it is easy to miss those daily stories (hello…I know we all have lives!) this is a round up of all the top items that you guys loved. These are my top ten of February fashion finds.
Just for sizing reference, I am 5’7″ and weigh around 155-160 lbs. I normally am a size 10 and a M-L in most generic top sizing and a L in most bottoms. I’ll leave the sizing info for each item if it is different than this.
Last month y’all loved joggers and leggings and this month is no different. I shared with you my new favorite Amazon leggings that have tons of compression and squeeze my middle in a solid three inches! Also they gave me a thigh gap that wasn’t there before! That’s magic. I got a size MEDIUM and could not believe I squeezed into them but they are amazing. CLICK HERE
I love me a tie front y’all. It’s true. I think if someone told me to only wear tie-fronts….I wouldn’t even cry. I would take it as a sign from the Lord. They just are super flattering if the neck line is done right and the hem length is good! I found this one and it is a great neckline (not too high, not too low), has functional buttons and has a very modest hem length that will still give good coverage no matter the squat or bend. I got a size MEDIUM and it is a bit oversized. CLICK HERE
My deal of the month had to be this faux leather jacket. I love love love the stitching and the details on it. I even wore it to my birthday dinner with all the ladies (when you go out with other girls, you know you dress your best!) and it comes in a bunch of colors. I can not believe the price – under $50!!! CLICK HERE
Y’all – I found my swimsuit. Since I’m not super confident about flaunting my cellulite in public quite yet, I am easing into the idea of bathing suits….slowly. I decided to randomly look one day and found this skirted suit and fell hard. When it arrived, I couldn’t even believe my eyes….a bathing suit that made me look like I didn’t just eat an entire bag of Reese’s Cups. Sold and sold. Love the length on the skirt and can see myself even, dare I say, walking on the beach in this! CLICK HERE
One big hit with you guys was jeans! February was the month for denim! You guys loved these relaxed fit distressed jeans and I can tell you why….they are perfect for that weekend casual I can do anything in these jeans vibe. They add tons of personality to an outfit and they work well with sandals (hello spring….let’s do this thing already!) CLICK HERE
Speaking of jeans – this was another style that was a big hit. I got these because I heard great things and they didn’t disappoint. They have no front pockets so no weird bumps or see through issues. They are a stretchy fit (I’m in a size 10) and they are the great length for espadrilles and sandals and flats! They are a must-buy for this coming spring season! CLICK HERE
Twist front tops are the sweet cousin of a tie-front! They bring lots of attention to the front and pull in the fabric for a stylish and flattering cut. They add lots of interest on a relatively plain top and the best part – they create gathers and gathers hide bumpy lumpy bits. This one is a mix between a cotton t-shirt and a sweater…it’s lightweight but not see through at all. I’m wearing a size Medium. CLICK HERE
I got more DM’s about these earrings than anything else. Lightweight and rose gold, they are just fancy enough to add some personality and still be super comfortable. Usually the larger earrings are heavy – but these literally feel like nothing. CLICK HERE
Love me a good sweatshirt and on valentines day, I cozied up to this one. It comes in three colors but I like it in blue. The sandblasted look is so perfectly casual and sporty and the inside is the softest ever. Its ridiculously comfy! Got a large here but I like the oversized look so that I can pair with joggers. I can not get enough of these shoes. I literally plan entire outfits around them. They are weirdly versatile (who knew that leopard was a neutral?!) and extremely comfortable (what else could I expect from Dr. Scholls!?). They are also not printed but have the calf hair detail that makes they very expensive looking. Favorite shoe find of the month! CLICK HERE
That’s a wrap for February fashion! If you are interested in seeing more EVERY DAY…you can always tune into stories on Instagram. I share different outfits everyday over there of things I OWN. And every now and again, I do a try on session of things that may or may not work! It’s a gamble! I’d love to have you come follow along and join us. And if you don’t love instagram (there are some of you that don’t!), make sure you always check the feed of my outfits on the sidebar….it’s labeled SHOP THE FEED. If you click on any of those photos, you can see the items I am wearing and shop that way too. I try to put a lot of the sizing info in the commenting box so make sure to check that out for sizes! And again – thank you for all your support! Love y’all!
