This should be fun.
First – watch this video with the volume all the way up in a quiet room…like a bathroom…or a storage closet….perhaps a cave that also has wi-fi. Sorry about the volume…we are quiet talkers…
ARE YOU AS EXCITED AS ME AT THIS?!
Seriously…this has been gestating for a long time now. Is gestating the right word? I hope so or this might get awkward. Anyhoo…Jeremy and I have constantly been debating how to do things, constantly thinking that we both have the BEST idea and that usually inhibits us from getting anything done because we are just debating for hours on end. So instead of us spending that time debating, let’s get to doing!
For those of you that couldn’t watch the video, basically we are gonna have our first ever Bower Build Off!
It’s a contest between Jer and I to see who has the best creation. He gets to set one parameter and I get to set one parameter and we must stay within those limits. When I first suggested a build off, he was like OH I am gonna build a half-pipe. I was all like z-snapping and no-you-will-not…so there is an unspoken rule (that we totally talked about) that is, it has to be useful to our lives (sorry honey – no warped walls until the boys are bigger). This time, my rule is that you have to use a giant thread spool that I scored at a local antique mall for $4 each. Jeremy decided that we had to get each project done in under an hour (which is totally unfair because he knows my weakness and time management is it).
Next week, I will come back and blog about our creations and then you get to rock the vote. That’s right. You decide who wins and who is the big fat Bower loser. I’m already practicing my victory dance 🙂
