One of our favorite tools in the ole arsenal is the Graco TrueCoat Plus II.  We got it right before the office makeover and it has saved our hineys on multiple occasions.  Basically, it can achieve that professional finish every DIY’er wants in less time.  A whole lot less time.  Sure it took us eight months (umm…nine months…ten…is it done yet?!) to complete our kitchen, but not because of this bad boy.  We flew through painting the cabinets stage like Taylor Swift with her boy-toys.  And painting the office trim and wainscotting was amazingly fast.  And did I tell you about painting the furniture in the office?  awe-some.

I used a brush and roller and, while it looks ok generally, when you really start to look you can see roller and brush marks. Plus it’s starting to peel in some places. I would love to give it another shot with a sprayer this time!

Four coats later of white paint and primer and we have just the babies room changed over to white trim. Looks amazing but took us a month.     Since I’ve already painted all the kitchen cabinets by hand (albeit, I have about 1/3 of yours), this would really come in handy to tackle all the baseboards, trim and doors in my house that are currently that ugly orange wood. Bleck!

    I would love to have this to paint out basement. It’s got a tone of wall space that is all covered in paneling. Imagine how this little tool could help get into all of those grooves – so much better than rolling and brushing.

Here we are months later and all the doors still don’t have door knobs because we haven’t painted them yet.     I’d start with the dresser and vanity we attempted to paint with disastrous results. I need to repaint all of my baseboards and doors…the house I bought over a year ago who occupied by squatters that wrecked every surface in the house…I hate painting trim so I’ve been avoiding it. A sprayer would be amazing to help knock this project off my list.
