DISCLAIMER: 4Moms sent me a stroller to review and provided one for this giveaway. All statements are true…well, except for the one where I claim to be Earth Goddess. That is not entirely true.
Do you follow me on Instagram? If not, I’m @bowerpowerblog. If so, then 1. thank you. and b. you know that yesterday I went to Atlanta Botanical Gardens with my sister and kiddos (minus Cole). It was really the most perfect day to see the grounds. The weather…perfect. The special displays…fun and fantastic. The company…couldn’t be better. I’ve lived in metro Atlanta for about twenty years now and have never been to the botanical garden and I really question now what I’ve been doing with all this time. It was pure perfection.
Right now they have special displays with scarecrows (each one is funny…like one that has a keyboard, sunglasses and is called Scary Wonder and yes, he is playing Superstition) and the entire park is littered with them. The other big exhibit is called Imaginary Worlds. I think it was made specifically for me. In my childhood dreams I lived in a secret garden where the plants were huge shapes. Boom. Happened here. Ginormous figures made out of plants. Somebody is monitoring my thoughts. I think its the government.
Just check out this huge lady coming out of the earth. Her actual name was Earth Goddess. My sis Nornie called her Big Head. Ironically that is also one of my nicknames. I can see the resemblance.
I was really happy that Weston was content the entire time. I think it’s due to the new stroller. He tends to squirm a ton in strollers…eating the bar in front of him…or messing with the cupholders….Houdini-ing his way out of the straps. But this time he was happy as a clam. As was I.
Let me explain. This is the Origami. It’s the Rolls-Royce of strollers in my book. It folds up and unfolds with a press of the button. BY ITSELF. It tells me my mileage and how fast I’ve been walking and the temperature. It CHARGES MY CELL PHONE. For a chronic 2% power kinda girl…this is a big deal.
And it has headlights. My sister laughed at me. As did I. Until Weston threw his paci in the parking lot and I used the lights to find it rolled under a Honda. It is simply sublime.
I have so much more to tell you and show you about the gardens (a whole post is coming next) but I knew that most off you will be asking about the stroller instead. So let’s just get to the point, right?! 4Moms is giving one away. Yes. Time to get excited.
Here’s what is up for grabs….
- PRIZE : 4Moms Origami Stroller
- NUMBER OF WINNERS : (1) One
- TO ENTER : Enter by commenting on this post with “I wanna be an Origami Goddess!” and let’s talk who would get this thing. My little winner was Weston…he’s 11 months old and just learned to ‘dance’…which means bouncing up and down and dropping it like it’s hot (I’m talking about twerking…not dropping something else hot in a certain diaper).
- PRIZE SHIPS : Continental US
- NITTY GRITTY : This giveaway closes on Tuesday, October 29th at 8pm EDT. Only one contest entry per email address. The winner will be chosen using Random.org and will be announced in an update to this post the following Monday morning. We will email the winner directly, so please make sure you use your regular everyday email address.
And if you want more info on 4Moms, you can check them out on their Facebook page. Oh and by the way…you want to watch this thing in action…I didn’t really believe it till I saw it.
GOOD LUCK!
DISCLAIMER: 4Moms has provided this prize to give to our readers. We received the stroller and it has earned the Bower seal of approval…which basically means we love it and would buy it ourselves.

My little guy was born 12/1/12, so he’s close in age to Weston and is disliking the whole being strapped down/in thing right now. I bet he would be all over this stroller! Then come spring it will be for his little sister! I’ll need something speedy and maneuverable to keep up with his shenanigans. And she should know the good life I’m thinkin’. 😉

I wanna be an Origami Goddess!!!!
Oh, I am in LOVE with that stroller!!!Our current ride keeps jamming so that it won’t stay open which is even more infuriating because when placing it back in the trunk in defeat it somehow won’t close all the way either! How does that even happen?
I usually have to Rambo it in which results in the cheap plastic cup holders popping off and hitting me, further exacerbating my annoyance. Since I’m only 5’3, all strollers are kinda a nightmare when it comes to opening and closing so the fact that this one does that all by itself just makes me want to declare it my second born.
Yooza- this rant has my blood boiling again. #strollerproblems

Any one of my three kids who are four and under could use this! We had one single stroller that my two-year-old frequently rode in (as my four-year-old prefers to walk and my four-month-old rides on me in the Ergo) and someone stole it! It was a Maclaren and I am too cheap to buy another, and too spoiled by the Maclaren to buy a cheapie!

This kid is bound to have hand-me-downs for the rest of its life, so why not start it out with something new and totally cool? 🙂
