DISCLAIMER: This is a sponsored post brought to you by HauteLook. Oh and Tyra…I am the world’s most awkward model so please don’t judge me for that. I am a thirty two year old stay at home rarely exercise mom who is with child. ‘nough said.
Last week we hit the rodeo.
I am so glad that this dress came in time from HauteLook because I REALLY wanted to wear it as a tunic. I wear two outfit combos these days. Both are really similar and they are both extremely comfortable. I am in that weird stage of pregnancy where I don’t actually look pregnant most of the time…I just look a little chubs. Like ‘whoa-girl-too-many-chips-ahoy” not “aww-you-are-all-belly-you-cute-pregnant-girl”. Wait. Nobody has ever said that last thing to me anyway. I am a grower and a shower. Tunics are my friend.
HauteLook offered me a chance to do a little shopping. And shop I did. I bought two dresses (they were on the shorter side and my legs are somewhat on the longer side and my kids are on the rowdy side so I plan on using them with something underneath to avoid showing my private side) and a pair of boots.
I had never shopped on HauteLook before but now I am kinda hooked. I like the fact that they have affordable shoes and jewelry and there are some clothes that I could never find for those prices in stores. I mean…the details on this shirt are out of this world.
Tunics (or short dresses in my case) and stretch jeans and boots? Uniform number one. Covers the mini-chub, the rear end, and still looks a little bit polished for this stay-at-home-mom.
The second look that I put together is my other uniform. Dress/tunic, leggings, flats and a cardigan. Sometimes I add a belt, sometimes a purse…sometimes a bit of jewelry but everything is REALLY comfortable.
I like to stick to tops that have details at the top. Keeps the eyes where it needs to be. So that folks don’t focus on my hips.
So here’s how it works. You have to go enter your email address and join up. Click here to do that. It’s easy and free and they don’t send annoying stuff…so go join. Then you can shop. The prices are up to 75% off the normal prices for Men, Women’s and kids fashion and they also have HOME STUFF.
Now…what is your uniform these days?
p.s. I did a bit more shopping last night and these are my current picks if HauteLook wants to send me more stuff. Or Jeremy…feel free to get me those earrings. Wink wink 🙂
