As I commented on your other site, absolutely beautiful. These are some of my favorite photos that you’ve shot. I told you I had a dream that you had a baby girl next, so… we’ll see! 🙂
2 questions: 1) I’m a knitter — what can you tell me about the cocoon that the baby is all wrapped up in? 2) Do you mind sharing what font you use for the word “photography?”
Hi Katie,
Absolutely gorgeous. Stunning. What amazing shots. I love those little cocoon ones. I especially like the vantage point when you got down beside baby. You don’t see it that way often – great eye!
Thanks for sharing!
That is actually one of those infinity scarves from GAP. I bought it and love it and figured that it might look kinda cool wrapped around a newborn!

Hi Cindy,
The cocoon is actually one of those big looped scarves…it’s from the Gap! heehee! And the font I used is Pea C-Squared…it’s a free handwriting font 🙂

Genius! It reminds me of a nest and I love it. Thank you for sharing 🙂

Great idea on the scarf! Thanks so much for sharing the font. I want to develop a logo for my developing crafts (etc.) business, and I’m now looking at C-Squared, Lex. Valentine, Roxygirl and Terri Cherie. 🙂 xo

I love these so much. I’m sad that I don’t live near you so you can do my newborn photos once my baby is born! I love the scarf!!! It is my favorite picture you’ve shot! Can I ask how old most newborns are when you do their photos?

What is the knitted piece the baby is in?

Most are between 6 and 11 days old. I find that they are most sleepy and curly then 🙂
