I sucked my thumb. Mum’s lie to make me stop was that it’ll get worn out and fall off. That might not have been so bad if it wasn’t for my thumbs actually having a natural hourglass-ish shape and I thought the “worn-ing” had already started and my thumb would soon fall off. I was mortified and cried a lot when desperately trying to quit sucking unsuccessfully, until mum had mercy on me and told me it was a lie to make me stop…
I DO still speak to her.

If you sit too close to the TV, your eyes will cross.

My mom is a nurse and whenever I did something she had told me not to do she would tell me she had just seen a little girl at the hospital who had did the same thing and …(think loss of life and limb). She scared me into obeying 🙂

Usually I think Will looks like you but in this photo he totally has his dad’s traits! I’m sure you’ve already compared their baby pics is it true???

Oh my goodness – we found my dad’s condoms in his night drawer and my mom told us we had to put away “daddy’s candies!” And, the pics are beautiful! What a great way to record Will’s development this year.

Great pictures as usual 🙂
Just a friendly suggestion, Katie. All of these graphics, as well as the graphics you have for your header and your buttons for your family page and your archives are all gigantic and only resized via HTML code.
Since I know you have photoshop, if you resized them in photoshop first so that they were displayed in their native resolution instead of maximum pixels resized via “height=” and “width=” then you’d dramatically cut down on your bandwidth required to load each and every page of your site, as well as its loadtime, AND it would look much better since Adobe does a better job of interpreting a resize when you Image–>Size than a web browser does when it “height=/width=”
Good luck and thanks for sharing your pictures!

When my husband was little, one Christmas all the talk of the virgin Mary led him to ask his mom what a virgin was. She told him they were a special group of people in Bible times, like the Nazerines. 🙂
